PGC Tour Tracker — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains how Pinoy Golf Co. (“PGC”, “we”) collects and uses information in the PGC Tour Tracker app (“PGC Tour”), the PGC Tour clubhouse TV screen, and related tournament check-in pages. The app is run by Pinoy Golf Co. in partnership with Fil-Nation Select.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address and password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see your password.
- Player profile: first and last name, date of birth (used to place you in a division and to apply our age rules), city, state and country, heritage category (Filipino heritage, or Open Division for players of any background) and optional family roots, optional home course, and an optional profile photo.
- Parent/guardian details (players under 13): the parent or guardian’s name and email and their consent.
- Scores: the rounds you post (course, date, score, course rating and slope, and the playing partner who attested the round), and the handicap index we calculate from them. Tournament scores are entered by official event scorers.
- Tournament registration: optional phone number, emergency contact name and phone, shirt size, notes you choose to share, and tournament check-in time.
- Entry-fee payments: payments are made in the Venmo or Zelle apps, not in PGC Tour. We only record the payment method, the amount, whether it was sent and confirmed, and the Venmo username or bank-account name you enter so we can match your payment. We never receive card or bank-account numbers.
- Travel packets: if you qualify for travel, PGC staff may add flight, hotel and stipend details for you. Only you and PGC admins can see them.
- Sponsor taps: we count how many times sponsor offers are tapped, as monthly totals. This count is not linked to you.
We do not use advertising trackers, sell your information, or track you across other apps or websites.
What other people can see
To run a public tour, some information is shown on the in-app leaderboard, on player pages, and on tournament TV screens: your display name, division, city/state/country, home course, profile photo, handicap index, posted rounds and tournament scores, and whether you have checked in. Players under 18 are shown by first name and last initial only. Your email, date of birth, heritage details, guardian details, phone and emergency contacts, payments and travel information are private: only you and PGC administrators can see them.
How we use information
- To run your account, calculate handicaps, and show leaderboards.
- To organize tournaments: registration, payment matching, tee times, check-in, scoring, and results.
- To check eligibility and keep the tour fair (for example, reviewing disputed scores or eligibility).
- To scout talent and select players for Fil-Nation Select events and travel, and to contact you or your guardian about them.
- To contact you about tournaments and important account matters.
Who we share it with
- Fil-Nation Select, our league partner, for player scouting, team selection and event organization.
- Google Firebase, which hosts our database and sign-in service.
- Tournament officials and scorers PGC appoints for an event, who can enter scores and check players in.
- If the law requires it, or to protect the safety of players and events.
Children and young players
The PGC Tour is open to players aged 11 and up. Players under 13 must have a parent or guardian’s consent, and we collect the guardian’s name and email to confirm it. Players under 18 are shown publicly by first name and last initial only. A parent or guardian can ask us to review, change or delete their child’s information at any time by emailing support@pinoygolfco.com.
Keeping and deleting your information
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Me → Delete my account. This permanently removes your login, profile, photo, posted rounds, handicap index and tournament registrations. We keep entry-fee payment records as needed for accounting. Official results from tournaments you already played (for example, a final leaderboard) may stay in that event’s records. You can also ask us to delete your information by emailing support@pinoygolfco.com.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google Firebase. Database rules limit private information to you and PGC administrators. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don’t use anywhere else.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. For significant changes we will also let you know in the app.
